On Friday, July 7th, 2566, the Division of Student Affairs organized a music competition in the "RAIN COAT MUSIC CONTEST 2023" project. At the Royal Monument of King Naresuan the Great in front of Phayao University. This event is aimed at discovering music bands for the upcoming "Freshy Night" event, which is scheduled to take place in December 2566. The competition provided an opportunity for Phayao University students to showcase their musical talents. This year, a total of 10 music bands participated in the competition, representing various faculties and departments. The results of the competition were as follows: The first-place winner was "Diminish," the runner-up was "JINXX," and the second runner-up was "Engineering Music Club."
