On July 11, 2023, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, the President of the University of Phayao, assigned Dr. Wuttichai Chairinkham, Vice President for Student Quality, along with the Assistant to the President, to participate in the Merit-Making Ceremony, commemorating the 106th anniversary of Most Venerable Luang Pu Phra Upali Kunupamajarn (Puang Thammapanyo), the former abbot of Wat Si Khom Kham (Phra Aram Luang) and Former Adviser to the Primate Region 6 at Wat Dong Prachao, Mae Ka Subdistrict, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province. Dr. Wuttichai Chairinkham served as the chairperson of the merit-making activity, where the sacred relics were revered, paying homage to Most Venerable Luang Pu Phra Upali Kunupamajarn (Puang Thammapanyo), who was a prominent figure known for his wisdom, knowledge-seeking nature, and extensive collection and documentation of historical knowledge. His valuable historical works include "History of Phayao City in the Post Period," historical documents regarding the letters of Phra Kru Sri Virachaiwachirapanya on the construction of the main pagoda, and discussions on the history of Phayao City. He is a member of the Lanna Book Exchange Committee. It is a current Thai book from Chiang Mai University.
